PoolTransit Founding Members Program — Terms

1. What this program is

Founding Members are the first people who believed in PoolTransit and helped it get off the ground — and we intend to remember that. Invite friends, and as they start using PoolTransit you earn recognition: a permanent Founding Member status and a level (Bronze, Silver, or Gold), plus perks such as early access to new features. As PoolTransit grows, we hope to keep adding perks and to give Founding Members first access to them — so the earlier you join and the more you help the community grow, the more you stand to enjoy over time. These are things we intend and hope to offer, not guarantees: it is a recognition program. It is not a payment scheme, and it does not involve any money.

2. Who can take part

• Anyone with a PoolTransit account can invite friends using their referral code.
• The first 500 people to join receive a permanent Founding Member number. It does not depend on inviting anyone.

3. How a referral is counted

• When a friend creates a new account and enters your code at sign-up, we record them as "Joined".
• When that friend is first matched with a co-rider, the referral becomes "Riding" and counts towards your level.
• A person can be referred only once (first code wins). You cannot refer yourself. Only genuinely new users count.

4. Levels & perks

• 🥉 Bronze — 1+ friends who reach "Riding" · 🥈 Silver — 5+ · 🥇 Gold — 10+.
• Being a Founding Member is meant to come with perks regular users don't get — and the list is only meant to grow. As PoolTransit expands, these may include, for example: first access to new hubs, modes, and cities; a visible founder badge your co-riders can see; and invitations to founder-only previews — with new benefits added over time, Gold founders first in line.
• These perks are examples of what we aspire to, not promises. All perks are offered entirely at our discretion, may change, and may be added or removed; levels and thresholds may be adjusted. Nothing here guarantees any specific benefit.

5. No payment

This program involves no cash, money, or payment of any kind. Taking part, reaching any level, or holding a Founding Member number does not entitle you to any money. Rewards are recognition and app perks only, offered at our discretion.

6. Fair use

• We may remove or disqualify referrals we reasonably believe to be fake, fraudulent, automated, self-referred, or otherwise not genuine, and may remove anyone who abuses the program.
• We may change, pause, or end the program, or change how referrals, levels, and perks work, at any time.

To run this program we record who invited whom, and show a referrer their friend's first name and join date only. See our Privacy Policy.
